A protégé' of Kenny Gamble / Leon Huff's 'Sound of Philadelphia', Winston's charismatic performances with a local pop-jazz-fusion group called 'The Glass Menagerie', led him to tour with many recording artists including: The Flamingo's 75, Maceo Parker, ( from the James Brown show) The Stylistics, Harold Melvin and The Blues Notes, The Original Soultrain Dancers, Dexter Wansel, Jean Carn, Bunny Siegler, The Tymes, Eddie Holman, Mc Fadden and Whitehead, Garnet Mims, The Delphonics, The Philly Intruders, and other major recording artists.
